Sauble Beach sits at the base of the Bruce Peninsula in Bruce County. It is the second longest fresh water beach in the world offering views of the worlds "Top 10" most spectacular sunsets. It has been given "The Blue Flag Award" for 10 straight years. It's a resort community and the year round home for approximately 2,000 people although visitor counts
can soar to over 100,000 on long weekends in the summer. Some of the recreational activities include swimming, boating, paddleboarding, kitesurfing, atv trail riding, beach volleyball, fishing, golfing, hiking, tennis, lawn bowling, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and birding. The Bruce Peninsula is also host to two national parks, The Bruce Peninsula National Park and the Fathom Five National Marine Park. and has some of the most scenic stretches of the "World Famous" Bruce Trail.
